House of the Dragon is an American fantasy drama and a prequel to Game of Thrones.
It is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and 172 years before the birth of Daenerys Targaryen. House of the Dragon shows the events leading up to the beginning of the decline of House Targaryen.
The first series premiered on August 21, 2022 and consisted of 10 exciting episodes. Filming has already started for Season 2 which is expected to premiere Summer 2024.
At present only 2 seasons have been confirmed.
