What is The Idle Shard?
The Idle Shard is a free, classless MMO inspired by Ultima that runs in your browser. Grow any of 40 skills, from Mining and Blacksmithing to Magery and Animal Taming. Your character keeps working for up to 8 hours after you close the tab, and the ore, hides, kills and skill gains are waiting when you return. Everyone plays in one shared world. Raise 14 towns together, battle 13 bosses across 13 dungeons solo or in a party, trade on a player-run market, build anything from a cottage to a castle, found a guild, sail the High Seas, or follow the 8 Virtues.
