⚡🍟 POKÉMON IS COMING BACK TO McDONALD’S! 🍟⚡
A brand-new Pokémon × McDonald’s Happy Meal promotion is on the way for Pokémon’s 30th anniversary — and collectors may want to keep an eye on this one. 👀
Current reports say the US promotion will run from 5 November to 9 December 2026, with the campaign also expected to reach other countries on different dates. The 5 December date being shared for the UK has not yet been confirmed by McDonald’s UK, so I’d treat that date as provisional for now.
What’s currently being reported for the promotion:
• Each Happy Meal is expected to include a 4-card Pokémon TCG booster pack
• Each pack should contain 1 holo + 3 non-holo cards
• There are reportedly 15 cards to collect
• 6 are expected to feature confetti holofoil ✨
• Customers may be able to choose between a Pokémon collectible/toy or a Pokémon Essential Handbook
• The exact Pokémon featured on the cards have not yet been revealed. PokéBeach
McDonald’s and Pokémon have teamed up many times before; the 2025 US promotion also included four-card Pokémon TCG packs and featured 15 different cards, so the reported 2026 format would follow a familiar formula.
