Guillermo del Toro’s highly anticipated adaptation of Frankenstein is set to premiere on Netflix in November 2025. Starring Oscar Isaac as Dr. Victor Frankenstein and Jacob Elordi as the Creature, the film brings a fresh, dark, and visually stunning take on Mary Shelley’s classic novel.
The movie also features a star-studded cast including Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, Felix Kammerer, Lars Mikkelsen, David Bradley, and Charles Dance.
Del Toro, known for his Oscar-winning direction in The Shape of Water and Pan’s Labyrinth, promises a gothic horror masterpiece with practical effects, deep emotional storytelling, and a unique interpretation of the Frankenstein mythos.
